超声波检验师, also called ultrasound technologists, use special imaging equipment that directs sound waves into a patient's body to assess 和 diagnose various medical conditions. This one-year certificate 程序 gives you the skills to be a competent entry-level general sonographer.
Those entering the 程序 are often graduates of the college's other allied health 程序s, 比如 放射技术A.A.S. 程序, but some enter the 程序 with a bachelor's degree 和 the required prerequisites.
This academic 程序 is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation.

- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis 和 ranked by date of complete application. Review begins every year on February 1 for an August start term.
- The 程序 duration is one full year from August to August. View the guidelines for admission.

- All applicants accepted into the 程序 must be able to meet the 程序's technical st和ards as outlined in the 技术标准政策.
